March and April swaps

Margaret is my March partner and she asked for eight pointed stars in  cornflour blue with cream background . These are the blocks I made for her.

My April partner is our lovely his Sue B. I had the pleasure to be her partner other times. Here are her blocks

Log cabins for Teresa

I hope these are the right sized strips, as there were conflicting patterns for a 6 inch log cabin.

Teresa requested them in reproduction or civil war fabrics with a red centre.  I made the centre block and strips all 1.5 inches wide.

Beautiful fabrics in such pretty colours. Thank you so much Jen. They are a wonderful start to my collection.

A block swap quilt

Thank you to all of the ladies that contributed to this lovely quilt that I am giving to my grand son Jack.  This was made over almost 2 years ( started in May 2011) with blocks received in the 6 inch swap.  I am so pleased with the finished result.

Beginner Did A Good Job

My partner was Dawnelle.  She was a little taken by my pattern and was unsure she could do it.  Well I am here to say "SHE DID".  And she did a good job.

The color was very well matched and there is little baby chicks in the print.  You can't really see it in the picture.  I was shocked to see I got 4 blocks instead of only 2.  Was a wonderful surprise.

I did her blocks and after I uploaded the picture I realized it looks like Christmas fabric. Even though it isn't.  I guess I will be putting the rest of that in my Christmas stash...

I hope she likes them.

Here are the blocks she made for me.
