January double swap with Liz & Andrea

I enjoy doing these swaps as I get to try different blocks I haven't yet tried.
Here are the blocks for Andrea. She wanted LeMoyne Star in Civil War prints.
I don't use these fabrics so I had bought a pack for an earlier swap and had put them aside.
Then I had Liz.
Since joining this swap we have found that we are both members of a local quilt group that meets monthly. Ha ha, small world.
Liz wanted any blocks suitable for babies. When she receives these she makes up blankets of love and sends them off to hospitals. They are passed on as a treasured memory of a loved one.
This is such a special thing to do so I added a few extra, which she has used them all.

Well done Liz. So happy you liked them
These are the maple leaf blocks Liz sent me. She got busy and made 4.

December blocks for Liz, January blocks for Sharon ............

Liz asked for leaf blocks in Autumn colours - I made the Maple Leaf, a Strappy Leaf block, and an Autumn Leaf against the sky.

Happy stitching Liz, Jan

Sharon asked for jewel colours - I hope I have made good choices that will make her smile when she opens her envelope.

Happy stitching Sharon, Jan
