Susans Batik Butterflys

Susan was my Partner in this group for May and her request was Butterfly blocks in Batik fabrics.  I was keen to do these for her, as I am practicing my new Foundation piecing skills. 


I did find these surprisingly easy to make, partially because the batik fabric does not have a right or wrong side (or at least I couldn't tell if it did), so there were less mistakes for me = less unpicking. Susan they will be fluttering to you this week

    Thank you they look great cant wait
    I am going to be a little slow this week of on hoildays for a week in Bali .. Hopefully get some lovely batik fabric while i am there and then get my block done for you lots of quilt hugs Sue
