Mug Rug from Anne (Nova Scotia, Canada)

It is always a pleasure to get mail and especially one all the way from Canada. Thank You Ann and as expected the fabrics are beautiful! Wish our fabric stores could be more generous with the variety of Christmas fabrics, otherwise there's always the on-line stores. She also included the 'I love Lucy' panels and who doesn't LOVE Lucy!!! Thank you very much Ann.

Scrappy selvidges

My second partner for the month is Robyn R who requested any scrappy block with a hint of blue.

So I asked Robyn if she minded I try making her a block with selvidges.

I had fun playing around with these, and made them both a love theme.  I hope you like them Robyn, sorry if the picture is not great, I left my camera at work and took the pic with my iphone

August partnerships being arranged

Hi ladies,

I will be sending out the August partners this weekend so if you are reading this and want to join in the fun, sent me an email, and like wise if  you are a registered member and cant do this months swap please let me know this also.

Here is a pic of a quilt plan in progress.  The large stars are from blocks I have received in the 12 inch group, and the little ones in this swap.  Dont they all come together beautifully.

I love to read Janets blog and see all of the lovely pictures of her northern Canadian home, with bears and moose.  A world away from dry South Australia (even though its been raining all day today lol).
