Robyn requested for any scrappy blocks, with any colours with a touch of blue. This is a great opportunity to use up my scraps which is never ending. Hopefully these blocks will be okay.

2 swaps done and dusted
With an odd number of members this month I took up the challenge of 2 swaps in the 6 inch group.
My first partner Larissa is saving pin wheels so I had fun playing around with my new foundation piecing skills to make a couple of pin wheels with a twist. Larissa was looking for brights, I certainly think these are bright enough.
My second partner for the month is new member Janet from Canada - who requested Cathy's campfire in reds, oranges and yellows. I used some batik fabric (in one of the blocks) as it looked like flames to me. I hope the Canadian postal strike is over and these find there way to you soon.
I had fun making blocks for both of these swaps - as they are all blocks I have never made before. This is what I love most about swapping. You get to make blocks you have never done before is colours that are out of your normal scope or style.

From Leena to Cheryl M
I Made Cheryl her 'Liberty Block' and it was done in tye-dye fabrics as I couldn't get a hold of batiks (my apologise). Hopefully it will blend in with her other lovely Blocks.

June partners being organised
Hi ladies,
I will be finalising the June partners and sending them out in the next day or so, thanks for being patient with this swap being a little late this month due to my trip to Thailand.

Pretty stars
Cheryl M was my partner for May, and how lucky am I to receive 4 beautiful stars. Cheryl wrote in her card that she could not decide to make me red or blue so she did both.
I cant pick a favourite, I love the embroidered hearts on the red ones, quite unique, and the funky centre print of the blue stars is fabulous. Thanks Cheryl you did a great job spoiling me.
