For Maxine

These are the blocks I made for my swap partner, Maxine. Her request was for soft florals with crisp whites.
Hope these fit the bill, Maxine!

Cheers from Canada!

From Robyn to Karen

The postman brought me a lovely prezzie the other day... these fun, bold blocks from my partner, Robyn!

Thanks Robyn!

Traci’s Blooms

These gorgeous blooms arrived in the mail today from Rev Traci in North Carolina.  They are so beautifully made with the prettiest of pinks.  And, the gorgeous Traci popped in a skein of pretty pink variegated embroidery floss, lucky me.

My Swap With SUE

My partner for the month of February was Sue B.  And today I finished her blocks and had just sent her an email letting her know they were being shipped tomorrow. Well my wonderful husband just walked in the door with a package andddd it was from SUE.  You can only imagine my excitement!

I love them!!!!
Here are the Buttercup's that I made for Sue.
She asked for shades of pink with a dark green background.
Well this green in the picture looks black but it is green.

And these are MY blocks from Sue.
They are awesome!!!
I love love love them.
Thank you Sue!!!

Traci's blocks + update

I am attempting to put this post up on my iPad as my lap top is still in hospital, the computer tech said the virus is severe and I may have lost everything :(

Any how, on a brighter note I really enjoyed making these, reading on Traci's  blog that she liked autumn tones and purple, so I tried to put a bit of that into them but sadly I don't know how to upload pics on the blog from the iPad.

I will keep playing and if you see pictures you will know that I figured it out

Little blooms

Now my little sail boats quilt is at Dawns house being quilted, this is my next 6 inch block project.

I have requested pink blooms with a dark base getting lighter to the top on a green background. This quilt is going to be so pretty.

These ones were made for my by Margaret – who spoiled me by making me four.

If you look closely one of them has a little dragon fly button – how cute is that !
